Mario De Nitto Personè is the Founder and CEO of Festina Lente Investments.
He is a lawyer specializing in international investment and commercial law, and a member of the Milan Bar Association. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pavia, where he received several awards for academic excellence (including the Padovani Prize and the Ubertini Award).
Before founding Festina Lente Investments, he gained significant experience in the international litigation and arbitration departments of leading law firms in Italy and abroad, advising clients in complex cross-border disputes, investments, and commercial transactions.
He currently teaches International Arbitration at the Almo Collegio Borromeo, University of Pavia. His background includes work with the U.S. Department of Commerce (CLDP), research activity at the Universidad de Buenos Aires, and editorial responsibility for the Giuffrè legal journal International Trade Law.
Carlo De Nitto Personè is the Co-Founder and Chief Legal Officer of Festina Lente Investments.
A senior lawyer with decades of experience in corporate and commercial law, he graduated in Law from the University of Bologna in 1975 with a thesis on the role of statutory auditors in corporate governance. He later pursued advanced studies in corporate law at Bocconi University in Milan and LUISS in Rome, and has been a member of the Lecce Bar since 1976.
Throughout his career, he has advised public authorities and private companies in complex transactions, including M&A operations, financial restructurings, public-private partnerships, and joint ventures. He also collaborated with the University of Salento as a lecturer and researcher in the field of local public services law, contributing to postgraduate programs and research initiatives. He is the author of two books on mixed-ownership companies and has participated as speaker in numerous legal conferences.
